Look What the Birdies Found in the Mail

Artful Blogging magazine. Have you seen it's beautiful cover on the shelves of your favorite bookstore yet? Well, if not, then be sure take a peek this coming month because someone you know is on the pages! When I received the email from Christen about possible being featured I was beyond giddy. I mean seriously, blogging is major part of my artistic journey. So just like someone buying my painting is an affirmation that the work is good, being asked to be a part of this publication was like, yes, they are reading it. Maybe I am on to something. We all want that next step....and well, this is a huge one for my little artsy career. So I give a huge hug to Christen Olivarez, the Senior Managing editor for putting such a unique group of artisans together in this new issue. As always, it is inspiring beyond words. And quite an honor to be in the same book with so many others that I have followed their journey.

Hope you are having a creative week. I had a new idea in my head, and now have created something so new and exciting, and outside my normal little crayon box of colors. I can't wait for it to dry so I can finish and show you! Off to the drawing board I go!
