The Paintings I Hated To See Go
So these are a few of the paintings at the Trinity Show now. Man I hated to see them go. You know every once in awhile I have to keep one.....and although I loved all three of these, I know they will find great homes this week. If you are interested in any of paintings, please attend the Trinity Show this week! It's an amazing collection of artists on display. In fact, as I walked the halls to the whimsical section I felt very small as an artist. I don't get they way much, but seeing all the unbelievable talent in one venue really made my heart skippy. And a tweak bit honored to be a part of such an event. ;)

Lots of Little Blooms
I tend to paint in series. And since I had to paint for not just the Trinity School show (about 20 pieces), but also the Naked Art Gallery (8 pieces at least 16 x 20), I was literally painting 2 of everything at the same time. It's cheating a little, but since they are going to two states, I figured while the brain was painting one, it could just as easily paint another. Here are the four "Little Bloom" paintings:

Rainy Day Fun
It's a cold a rainy day here in Newnan today. How appropriate that I just finished up my new Rainy Day Fun painting. I saw some umbrellas in a children's book and thought, new inspiration! A little silly, I know, but once they are framed in white bead board, they'll be a great painting for a mudroom, laundry room, or heck, your family room! These umbrellas would surely make Mary Poppins tickled pink. Better than that old black one she floated around with anyways.
Well, I'm off to get more painted. I've not mentioned it because it's slipped up on me, but I have a show coming up very soon. It's the Trinity School in Atlanta's Spotlight On Art. I was thrilled to be invited since it's invitation only. They have 350 artists on the list this year, including some heavy hitters! I'll be taking about 15 paintings, 10 framed tiles, pendants and a few felties. It looks like a wonderful event. If you are around that week it's Feb. 17th-21st.
